Another Docerela Creations FUN CHALLENGE!

Hi, Everyone!

It´s time for another great Challenge for Docerela Creations!  
It´s time for another great chance to win some really lovely stamps!  ;-D

So this Challenge is all about going to the beach, playing under the Sun, longer days, fun, fun, FUN!!!
What? Didn´t ring a bell yet? This challenge is all about SUMMER! Yes, it´s Summer Time for you guys (I said for YOU guys because I live in South America, so here´s coming the Winter... lol!).

For this Challenge you have to make any project using the SUMMER as your theme, as your inspiration. It can be a Card, a 3D project, a Layout, anything your creativity tells you to make about Summer.

Let´s see what I prepared for you. Here´s my project:

 I live in a town named Niterói, very close to Rio de Janeiro, and both cities are linked by the Rio-Niterói Bridge. We can also go to Rio by ferries. Only 12 minutes on the new ones. So we can view from our Icaraí Beach, only a block and a half from home, the Sugar Loaf, the Corcovado (the Christ)... Wow! It amazes me EVERYTIME I see it.   =D


For this Layout I used:
- Docerela Creations Portuguese Stamp Set III;
- Some designer papers I won from a friend (I can´t recall the brand, so sorry!);
- A green textured cardstock as the base for the Layout from DCWV;
- A doodle done by myself (the Sun, of course... I LOVE the Sun!);
- Musical Tissue Tape by Tim Holtz (LOVE him also!);
- Label punch;
- Circle punch;
- Markers and ink.


Below you can see the stamp I used from the Set III of Docerela Creations Portuguese Stamps. It´s written "Ótimo verão", which means "Great summer" in Portuguese.   =)

Well, Summer Time...
Remembers me some great songs, some that stayed in our minds (and hearts), like... "Summertime".   =)
But as I´m Brazilian and I´m always showing on my projects the Portuguese Docerela Creations Stamp Sets, I decided to put on the journaling a brief part of an old Summer song we had here, called "SOL DE VERÃO" which means "SUMMER SUN" in Portuguese. I LOVE this song!

 It says on the lyric: "It´s Summer! Good sign! It´s time... to open up the heart and dream..." by the band Roupa Nova (Brazilian band).

And below you can take a look at the photos a little bit closer, taken buy my brother, who still doesn´t know how great photographer he is... but I always remind him that.   ;-)
